#1 Beitrag von Torfo » 08 Jul 2007 22:44

Hi,
the wellknown-"unkown group of reverse engineers" released a new tool to unpack, dump and parse the UOP files.

I've uploaded the tool to my webspace: http://uo.torfo.org/user/anon/uokrunpacker.zip
Please free feel to ulpoad it whereever you want.

Warning: This tool is definitely not for newbies!

I had an error after patch an edited cliloc file back into UOP.

I Unpacked, got the first file (_0_0.dat).
Edited it by my cliloc editor, the same way I do with the legacy cliloc (they look similar, maybe the same... UO Localization can work with them) and saved.
After this, I tried to patch UOP file using this edited file and selecting 0/0 for Index/File Index.
Everything works fine but, after that, I can't open my UOP using this tool again. Seems corrupted.

Something with size values on first blocks? or I'm doing something wrong?

Anyway, I loved this.
Thanks for the tool :P

Great work from the unknowns
Is there a plan for the future to select multiple files for the parse and patch function? I ask cause it could be take some time to patch e.g. 7168 files for facet0 in single steps

Same question here :P
I was working in a map convert tool, but it was a pain to patch file per file into Facet's UOP.

Version 1.0.3.0 also has a console mode what is usable for batch processing.
Someone uploaded it here

Great work again. Is it possible that someone could add a --all for e.g. facet0. Batch process work fine but takes time. But for all files in this case a -all would be easier. I'am surely talking only about facet0.uop. I know someone else who seems to write a tool to convert maps. And it seems to work using your unpacker as he stated lately.

Ok, we'll give it a try ;)

p.s.: Are you working on map editing? We too :) (almost we'll do it after the vacation :P )
